A recent project promoting medical devices included 27 modestly priced affinity web sites developed around of targeting individual visitors' searching interests, news group postings, opt-in email campaign with 2,000,000 targeted recipients, thousands of favorable newsgroup postings, 45,000 targeted fax recipients, a sales rep signup program, an affiliate campaign targeting competitor's resellers, celebrity product placement endorsements and a Direct Response Ad Campaign to gather leads. This campaign took less than 90 days to pay for itself.

The project managed personally by our Chief Operating Officer involved a major pharmaceutical company who needed to inform potential patients that their medication might be more appropriate and perhaps they should consider discussing it with their physician.

Needless to say after revamping their Internet strategy, developing database capabilities and launching a series of Internet initiatives and coordinating an appearance on the Rosie O'Donnell Show; the company's monthly online promotional budget was reduced from $180,000 to $25,000; while traffic increased from 21,000 targeted visitors per month to over 600,000 monthly visitors within a year.

The result in sales? Forest Laboratories' sales of this well known medication increased by more than $200,000,000 within a year.

Hershey Foods.
This project involved a well known confectionary manufacturer. Our Chief Operating Officer traveled around the country with brand managers to participate in numerous focus groups attended by the targeted demographic housewives and children. Modified designs and content were displayed to the audiences and feedback was solicited.

The results were to refocus the site's content on what the visitors expect to see, rather than what the company wanted to show them. It was discovered that business managers were developing Internet strategies; when, they in fact didn't utilize the medium and were ill-equip for the task. Subsequently, business managers were invited to attend in house educational workshops to learn what was working on the Internet in other industries. They were able to see what was already working and what didn't work and then incorporated winning strategies into off line product launches and other Internet advertising campaigns.

The results were that the 000,000's of monthly visitors stayed longer and returned more often.
